Paul Wharin sends everyone at fuller a message from his current visit to Cameroon.

"Today has been an exciting day.", says Paul.

Prof Hesseling, nurses Glenn, Vera and Paul travelled to a small village called Ntada where parents of three children being treated for Burkitt's lymphoma awaited them.

"All three children were well.", added Paul.

These parents will form the nucleus of a new parent group which will teach villagers to recognise the cancer and support other "new" parents.

Afterwards Glenn and Paul addressed staff at a nearby Catholic Health Centre - and he was asked to see two more children with non-cancer related problems. Prof Hesseling was presented with a live chicken (suitably trussed) and Paul was given a large cylindrical pawpaw (the sweetest variety).

Paul concluded, "Our time at Banso has been effective and blessed. Thank you for praying.".

We hope that you will join us in our prayers for Paul and his fellow colleagues and their work in Cameroon.
