Street PastorsA number of Churches in Kettering have got together to start a Street Pastors Team.  These teams have been successful in other parts of the country.

We are all looking forward to putting our faith, and all we have learned, into action: being a listening ear; helping people find a way to get home safely; serving people on the streets, by sweeping up glass, giving out flip flops, water or blankets later in the year. . . and who knows what else!

Prayer support is vital for the success of this initiative as we begin to go out on the streets. We are grateful that several people have committed to pray for Kettering Street pastors. If you are interested in being part of the prayer team please don’t hesitate to contact Fiona Inman: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

A normal Saturday evening with the Street Pastors will look something like this:

  • 11pm – Street Pastors go out
  • 12.30am – Street Pastors return to base for coffee/ chat/prayer with Prayer Team
  • 1am - Street Pastors go out
  • 3am Return to base for de-brief and go home.
